NV Extra Brut Cuvée Ultra D is a blend of 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay, with about one third reserve wines. Melted butter and caramelized plum on the nose promise a rounded wine. The palate follows with smooth butteriness on a mellow, rounded frame; smoothness, mellowness and richness call out for food and are delineated by fine freshness. The yeasty echo is long and savory. Dosage is 3 grams per liter.
