Pleasant aromas of ripe pear and orange peel are accented here with light floral notes and a bit of spice. The texture is light, supple and elegant, suffused with surprising freshness for the vintage. The grapes are from the top of the slope in the village of Concoeur above Vosne-Romanée. The wine was aged exclusively in 500L barrels to give it a hint of richness without obscuring the lovely fruit.
