Anne Gros & Jean-Paul Tollot La Ciaude 2022

The 2022 Minervois Cazelles La Ciaude is derived from calcareous soils and was matured 80% in barrels and the rest in stainless steel. Evoking aromas of pencil lead, licorice, dark cherries and flowers, it's medium to full-bodied, sappy and ample, with a delicately juicy core of fruit and sweet tannins, concluding with a long, floral finish. Keep it for 2-3 years in the cellar.
