The just-bottled 2022 El Sequé matured in 500-liter demi-muids for six months. It's heady and ripe, grapey, with notes of berries and aromas of Mediterranean aromatic herbs and esparto grass, and it has a full-bodied palate and grainy tannins. 60,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2023.

I tasted the wines from El Sequé as part of the Artadi portfolio in 2023 and now tasted the 2022. I publish here all the notes for context and completeness of the Mediterranean article. They have purchased new vineyards and are doing some separate vinifications in the excellent 2023 vintage with the idea of maybe releasing some single vineyard or new wines in the future. I'll keep you posted.
