A distinctly earth and sauvage-suffused nose speaks of red and dark currant and plum as well as a hint of volatile acidity. The medium-bodied flavors are even sleeker, indeed the mouthfeel is quite refined, while exhibiting focused power and persistence on the slightly warm finish. The balance isn't perfect but this still offers much to like.
